HRSA established the EMSC Data Center (EDC) to coordinate the collection & analysis of prehospital & emergency department clinical data to guide improvements in pediatric care by providing evidence-based best practice
Our team of scientists brings together experience in clinical trials, research, data collection & management, survey deployment, grant management, & data linkage
We provide experienced leadership in the coordination of technical assistance to EMSC grantees, EMSC researchers, & national partners & stakeholders who rely on EMSC data collection, analysis, & dissemination
For the past two decades, we have provided support, coordination, & expertise in implementation of pediatric research & remain the leader in cutting edge, comprehensive research support for national pediatric multi-center randomized clinical trials & observational studies
The EDC also remains a national leader in establishing performance measures to drive emergency care for children, providing technical assistance to EMSC State Partnership (SP) Managers, & providing expertise in the development & coordination of large national survey deployment
Our team specializes in data collection, analysis, visualization, & dissemination to grantees, national partners, & academic researchers to advance understanding of emergency care for children
We have demonstrated consistent success in collecting prehospital, emergency department (ED), & QI data, including leading two successful deployments of the National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) assessment with 5000+ EDs & annual surveys to 15,000+ prehospital agencies
